Looooong training day this time around from what I've heard. No details from J but basically they wandered through the desert all day and didn't finish up until mid afternoon. Luckily, anyone who hadn't learned about the Texas/New Mexico sun the first time around was well aware this time and wore...sunscreen!!! Yay!! hahaha It sounds like the unit "treasure hunted" different locations through the day and worked on their desert navigation skills. Not too exciting but [in my opinion] better than sitting in a classroom all day.
Unit's up again at 0500MDT tomorrow (today, Saturday) so I'll spread the hello's! Maybe they can send us some sun and warmth instead of this rain and snow we're seeing now...fingers crossed!
