Day 12- the unit had training for the duration of the day and then received their "schedules" for the deployment. There are different shifts each day and the members of the unit have a part of the day- one shift- that they are responsible for working through every day. Not sure when exactly each shift changes, but J seems very happy with his!!! Happy J means happy me so it was a good day :)
Day 13- really uneventful day from what I can get out of J (he sent a couple texts and then fall asleep around 1730MDT) but a good day! Actually, I believe the specific description for the day was "Great training" so I'll take that as a good thing!
Attached is the picture of sir J that I woke up to this morning. Funny face (so serious) but very much the man we all miss!
